How we turn official UAE employment and immigration sources into transparent calculators, worked examples, evidence checklists and update records.
FinalPay UAE is an independent educational resource. It is not MOHRE, ADGM, DIFC, ICP, GDRFA, a court or a law firm. We do not label content “lawyer reviewed” or “payroll expert reviewed” unless a real, identifiable review has occurred and can be disclosed.
For rules and official processes, the Research Desk prefers primary sources: legislation and regulations, UAE Government portals, MOHRE, ADGM, DIFC, ICP and GDRFA. Secondary articles may help identify a user question, but they are not used to override a current primary rule.
Pages are not expanded merely to reach a word count. A useful page should cover the main user question, related entities and definitions, important exceptions, a worked method, evidence needed, the next decision and the authoritative source. When two search intents require different decisions, they can justify separate pages; when they are only wording variations, they should remain on one stronger page.
Federal private-sector rules must not be silently reused for ADGM, DIFC, domestic workers, pension-covered employees or alternative end-of-service schemes. Immigration guidance similarly distinguishes federal ICP services from Dubai GDRFA processes where relevant.
A reviewed date means the cited source, formula, page scope and important limitations were rechecked by the editorial process. It does not mean the visitor's contract, leave records, salary history or case outcome was verified.
Material calculation or source changes are recorded in the public rule changelog. A correction should identify the page, the statement or formula at issue, and a current official source that supports the change.
Calculator inputs are designed to stay in the browser. Users should avoid sending identity documents, contracts, bank statements or other sensitive employment records to unknown recipients simply to obtain a calculation.
Read the calculation methodology, browse the official source register, or review the scope and legal limitations.
