Free settlement audit workbook

UAE Final Settlement Excel Template

Download a workbook that separates salary, leave, notice, gratuity, additions and deductions so you can compare your calculation with the employer's settlement statement.

Updated: 13 August 2026Educational workbook, not an official MOHRE form
What the workbook is for

Use it when you need a transparent final-settlement format rather than one unexplained “net payable” number. Every major amount has its own line so you can attach the contract, payslip, leave record or calculation that supports it.

Replace every example with facts you can prove. The workbook is designed for audit and discussion; it is not a government certificate and should not be used unchanged for ADGM, DIFC, domestic-worker or Savings Scheme cases.

What is included

How to use the template

  1. Confirm the employment jurisdiction and end-of-service system first.
  2. Enter dates and wage components from original records.
  3. Complete each settlement line independently.
  4. Enter the employer's figures in the comparison area.
  5. Investigate only the lines that differ instead of arguing about the net total.
  6. Save the source document beside every disputed input.

Example: turn a AED 9,000 difference into questions

If your workbook is AED 9,000 higher than the employer statement, do not stop at the difference. The workbook may show AED 3,000 missing final salary, AED 2,000 unused leave and AED 4,000 gratuity difference. Those become three precise questions that payroll or an authority can verify.

Evidence to prepare

Evidence categories prepared0 of 8

Keep original files, full dates, sender/recipient information and a chronology. Do not edit evidence to fit a calculation.

What this Excel template should not do

It should not encourage you to invent a divisor, combine basic and total wage, or hide a disputed deduction inside the gratuity formula. If a legal or payroll assumption is uncertain, keep the cell and note visible and verify it against the current official source.
